Volleyball
Thursday, May 20th to Thursday, September 30th, 6 to 9 pm Every Thursday at SPSTC volleyball pit
4 P ====> Pit, Pint, Pizza and Pool. 
Come join us for volleyball this season.  Play as much or as little as you want.  What began as a men's night of volleyball has become fun for several women, too.
Rating: medium to semi-serious
 
NNO National Night Out
Tuesday, August 3rd, around 7pm
This annual gathering of neighbors at small yard parties is set for 7 p.m. on Aug. 3. If you are willing to host, simply by opening your front yard to neighbors, or can suggest a cul-de-sac where neighbors can easily meet, please email Lisa Miller, lisacmiller@carolina.rr.com

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is designed to: 
* Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
* Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs;
* Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
* Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
 
 
 

 
Festival in the Park 2010
Thursday, September 23rd to Sunday, September 26th at Freedom Park
Festival in the Park 2010 - Since 1964, Festival in the Park has been bringing good music, good art and good times to Charlotteans and visitors from around the world. The 46th annual event will take place September 23-26, 2010.
