HFNA Annual Meeting 2010 Feb. 8

Want to be in the know about neighborhood happenings? Be sure to attend the annual meeting, 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 8 at Forest Hill Church.  Agenda items include an update from police on crime trends; progress reports on membership, entrances and Neighborhood Watch; and news from Parks and Rec.  And, drum roll please, we’ll unveil the new huntingtownefarms.org!  If that’s not enough, two attendees will each win a $50 Visa gift card! Please plan to attend and support your neighborhood.

We need YOU to serve on the HuntingtowneFarms Neighborhood Association board. The board meets four times a year, and each board member is responsible for a signature event, ranging from the 4th of July parade to the fall picnic. We know everybody is busy, but our neighborhood can offer so much fun community events because of the board. Please consider joining. Vacancies are:
Section 1: Covers upper parts of GoneawayRoad, Burnt Mill and Bridlespur.
Section 2: Covers lower parts of Burnt Mill, Tall Oaks, Tempsfordand Pencoyd.
Government liaison: Keeps board updated on government issues that affect our neighborhood.
Communications: Pulls together quarterly newsletter and e-mails/mails out to neighborhood.
